We believe that nutrition from whole foods is superior in comparison to vitamins and minerals that are synthetically produced in a lab. Our snacks and superfoods are delivered to our customers as close to how we foraged them in nature.
By sourcing from regenerative farms these practices improve environmental conditions by sequestering carbon from the atmosphere, revitalizing the topsoil’s microbiome, and increasing land productivity for future generations
Properly managed livestock have a critical role in balancing CO2 in the atmosphere. Cows and other ruminant animals can effectively help draw down or sequester carbon from the atmosphere and store it in the soil. Properly managed rotational grazing allows plants to recover and regrow, increasing the amount of carbon they can draw from the atmosphere. The microorganisms in the soil are fueled by the cow's dung and urine, which convert CO2 into stable forms of soil carbon that contribute to its ability to absorb and hold water, support life forms, and increase resilience. Proper land management for domestic grazers is key to restoring healthy topsoil to stabilize CO2 in the atmosphere.
Our cows feed on grass, leaves, and whatever they forage freely from the land. They only feed organically and are not treated with any synthetic hormones or antibiotics.
Bali Forages' nose-to-tail approach utilizes all highly nutritious parts of the animal, even those that are often overlooked. By doing this, we are honoring every part of the animal by minimizing waste.
We are incredibly involved with our supply chain and production, from the beginning all the way to the final product. We work together with local smallholder farmers in Bali to ensure our cows are well taken care of.
